Deity of Destruction
I love destructive deities but I am unsure what sort of twist ours could have. Any Idea?

Could have a sorta Lovecraftian Cthulhu like creature or the bringer of the end of the world, who will one day bring the apocolpyse

I think that is too overdone though. Maybe this god wasn't always the god of destruction, he/she just got bored.

I mean like... just a conscious being who;s soul function is to destroy existence. Like the angel that is going to play the trumpet to signal the apocalypse if I butcher what little knowledge of Christianity I have. Maybe he doesn't want to be the god of destruction

how about a Daemon. like asmodeus from pathfinder have a daemon that has achieved god levels of power. they dont care about corrupting or collecting souls, they just eat them. daemons dont want to rule or conquer, they just work towards the end of everything
