Fallen - The Fallen Prince Empty
PostSubject: The Fallen Prince   Fallen - The Fallen Prince EmptyMon Jun 23, 2014 12:35 am

NAME: Unknown

TITLES:The Fallen Prince, The Morning Star

PORTFOLIO: Tyranny, Order, Fire.

TYPICAL WORSHIPERS: Slavers, Tyrants, Leaders and Lawyers.

TYPICAL WORSHIPER ALIGNMENT: Lawful (leaning evil)

FAVORED WEAPON: Morningstar

FAVORED ANIMAL: None Known

LEGEND: According to some legends the Fallen Prince was the first born among the gods. He claims to be the elder brother or even father of the pantheon that makes up the bulk of the 12 primary gods. However most other churches and other legends dispute this. Some are even of the opinion that he is not part of the 12 at all, but rather represents a visitor from some other pantheon, much the way Donar and Desir were.

What is certain is The Fallen Prince abstained from the war of the gods. And indeed helped write the contracts and treaties that ended that conflict before the world could be completely destroyed or remade. Why he did this is anyone's guess. Even his church provides little answer other than he prefers the order of peace.

Despite avoiding the best known conflict of the gods the Fallen Prince is described as having a fierce battle wound that crackles and bubbles with energy. Where or when he received this is not know. This contrasts with the painfully beautiful and youthful visage he normally takes. Though political cartoons and tall tales sometimes describe him as a horned red man with goat legs. It is often though this is just a common guise the prince uses when it suits him.

It is said he has good relations with most of the gods. especially the law minded types. Despite that some of his most notorious followers have been villains whose names are recognized through out the ages. The Child Queen of the Black Tower is counted among them. As well as the Black Tyrant who ruled over Ancient a'Ner for generations before being killed.

CHURCH: His church is well organized and wide spread. It is grudgingly accepted in most countries. (Mostly because the church tends to keep their people in line). Power is given out freely in his church, and young pupils find easy access to spells and power if they give themselves to the prince. This tends to attract unsaviory folk. As such a powerful order of Inquisitors keep the clergy in line.

Inquisitors of the Prince are often more feared than serial killers and for good reasons. There is nothing good about having one around. Despite that they often end up bringing their own errant kind to justice.

SPELL PREPARATION RITUALS: Blood Sacrifices are preferred. Though Candles arranged in a pentagram are the most common ritual required by priests. Divination spells require sacrifices. The Fallen Prince rarely answers prayers directly, and receiving direct word from him requires great sacrifices, or it means he has taken a massive liking to the person.

Sacrifices of Sentient creatures are considered the best, but the church encourages doing so only when legal, (war captives, slaves, willing sacrifices etc).
